The primary woods I use are black walnut and black cherry harvested from my family farm in Kentucky. The lumber I use is saved when a tree must be removed for farming purposes or is impacted by storms. The walnut tree in this picture, a survivor of early European settlement, is safe for the ages.

Should you prefer other woods, I'll gladly work with you.

Each piece is hand crafted, using modern tools as well as the tools my father and grandfather used throughout their lives. Dovetails and much of the other joinery is hand tooled.
